Help victims of Typhoon Ondoy
Typhoon Ondoy has affected the residence of the Philippines with a great force. An estimated 455 millimeters of rain has fallen on September 25th 2009 and it is said that about 1.87 million people have been affected by the flooding.

As a Philippine born citizen, as well as having family members and acquaintances still living there, it was a big concern when I heard the news about the flooding. Although I do not have contact to many people, I am constantly praying for their safety and God’s providence over them. Not only are many people without shelter, food or clean water, but many lives have also been lost due to this disaster. I am especially concerned for the poor who live within the lower slumps of the Philippines as they have no other retreat and are already in need. Please give generously.
